Macro pictures

The definition of Macro photography is the capture of images from closeby. Obviously Macro objectives usually have reproduction factor of 1:1 to one or 1:2. e.g. 1:1 means that the size of the captured item is exactly the same. A nice explanation about the difference between Macro, Micro and Magnification is clearly explained: Macro definition

challenges

There are lot of challenges in Macro photography and especially capturing small creatures as these are constantly on the move. In particular the the focus point, exposure and deth of field. Capturing in open nature also gives other variables like weather condition e.g. wind and extensive sunshine etc.

Recommendations

Before you even start to consider to go for Macrophotography study the features of the camera and use a suitable objective. Study the subject and there is whole lot of documentation spread out over the internet. After doing that the most important ingredients for success are patience, perseverance and selecting the proper application for doing some photo editing afterwards.
